Your Role

As a VoIP Technical Support Specialist, you will:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for VoIP-related concerns and customer incidents

Investigate and resolve VoIP performance issues including call quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss

Respond to customer requests and incidents in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner

Utilize ticketing systems and remote troubleshooting tools to document and manage support cases

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions

What You Need

Non-negotiables

At least 1 year of experience in technical support, help desk, or VoIP support

Basic understanding of VoIP technologies and IP networking concepts

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience using ticketing systems and remote troubleshooting tools

Strong customer service orientation and communication skills

Preferred Skills/expertise

Familiarity with SIP and RTP protocols

Experience troubleshooting VoIP call quality issues such as latency, jitter, and packet loss

Experience using ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Jira Service Desk

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and collaboration skills
