We are seeking a patient, kind, and respectful virtual assistant to support an elderly client who is creating an online class for children and needs help with both business and personal tech-related tasks. This is a part-time, long-term role with the potential to grow over time.
Responsibilities
Online Class & Business Support
- Assist with setting up and managing live Zoom classes for children
- Help manage the Skool.com page (updates, posts, member management, etc.)
- Create simple graphics and promotional materials for the class and Skool.com page
- Set up and manage Facebook Ads and Google Ads campaigns (with guidance)
- Help with basic website creation and updates (using templates or site builders as needed)
- Manage online bookings and registrations for classes
- Maintain organized digital files related to classes, students, and marketing materials
Scheduling & Administrative Support
- Manage calendar and schedule for classes, meetings, and personal appointments
- Arrange and confirm meetings with parents, collaborators, and other contacts
- Book flights and travel arrangements as needed
- Help with paying bills online and tracking due dates
- Assist with setting and managing doctors appointments and follow-ups
- Provide general tech support (e.g., troubleshooting simple issues, installing apps, setting up accounts and passwords)
Basic Qualifications & Skills
Personal Qualities
- Patient, kind, and consistently respectful, especially when working with an older client
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow through on commitments
- Comfortable working with children-related content and parents
Technical Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with basic website creation (e.g., Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, or similar)
- Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads (creating, launching, and monitoring campaigns)
- Strong schedule and calendar management skills (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.)
- Comfortable with Zoom and other online meeting tools
- Ability to create simple, clear graphics using tools like Canva or similar
Interpersonal & Work Style
- Must be very patient and kind in communication, especially when walking the client through tech tasks
- Highly organized and consistent in following processes and documenting work
- Creative and resourceful with the technical aspects of the job (finding solutions, suggesting improvements)
- Able to explain actions in simple, non-technical language
- Comfortable providing clear timelines for task completion and regular status updates
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Weekly Time Commitment
- Estimated: 510 hours per week to start
- Hours may grow over time as trust is built and responsibilities expand
