Job Description
We are looking for a
Technical Training Support Engineer on a VIE contract for 12-24 months based at Agoncillo (Spain).
The VIE scheme (Volontariat International en Entreprise, International Internship Programme), is opened to any EU nationals. This role is specifically aimed at candidates eligible to join Crown as a VIE for a fixed-term contract between 12 up to 24 months.

The main missions are to support the development and rollout of our EMEA Technical Training Strategy. In this role, you will help build a standardised, consistent, modern, sustainable and scalable technical training framework across our plants, with a strong focus on standard skills matrices implementation, modernisation of training manuals, SOPS , using digitalisation methodologies, standard technical capability assessment and training process optimisation.
This position sits at the crossroads of Production Engineering, Business HR, L&D and Operations, contributing directly to the technical performance and long term skills development of our manufacturing teams.
Key Missions
- Develop, update and deploy the EMEA Skills Matrices, ensuring clear competency levels from Entry to Expert & Trainer.
- Support the design and standardisation of technical training pathways aligned with skills matrix progression.
- Collaborate with plant teams to assess current skill levels, identify gaps, and propose targeted training interventions.
- Contribute to technical training materials and digital learning tools (SOPs, video modules, AR/AI solutions).
- Support Train the Trainer (T3) activities and ensure consistent evaluation practices.
- Analyse training KPIs and help prepare dashboards, reports, and leadership updates.
- Participate in knowledge transfer initiatives to capture, structure and sustain technical expertise.
Profile & Qualifications
- Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Process Engineering (or similar).
- Strong interest in technical capability development and hands on learning.
- Ability to understand production, engineering and skills necessary to perform our plant operations.
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Comfortable analysing data and using KPIs to drive improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Hands-on approach and passionate by manufacturing processes and people.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or technical training is an advantage.
