About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor who excels at transforming raw clips and creative concepts into engaging, high-converting video content for social media ads and Amazon product videos.
This role requires more than just technical proficiencyit demands a strong storytelling ability, a deep understanding of e-commerce video trends, and the ability to craft videos that capture and hold attention with minimal supervision. As Mr. Beast says, the magic happens in the editing roomyour work will be the deciding factor in whether a video succeeds or fails.
You'll collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to bring products to life through compelling visual storytelling that drives conversions and enhances brand visibility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-converting video ads for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Transform raw footage and creative briefs into engaging videos that capture attention and hold viewers from start to finish.
- Craft compelling narratives using motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, and special effects.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring the best performance on mobile and desktop.
- Work autonomouslytaking scripts, clips, and hooks and turning them into attention-grabbing videos without heavy supervision.
- Edit footage to highlight key selling points, user testimonials, and product demonstrations.
- Stay ahead of trends in video marketing, storytelling, and social media best practices for e-commerce brands.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in e-commerce, social media marketing, or DTC brands.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of social media ad formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific video requirements.
- Ability to edit fast-paced, attention-grabbing content optimized for conversions.
- Exceptional storytelling skillsknowing how to keep viewers engaged from start to finish.
- Experience with motion graphics, text animation, and sound design to enhance engagement.
- Ability to work independently and take creative direction, producing high-quality content with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience editing videos for beauty, health, or lifestyle brands.
- Knowledge of A/B testing for video ads and performance optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with Amazon product video guidelines and best practices.
- Basic skills in color grading, lighting correction, and sound mixing.
