Video Editor

This contract is about AI output at volume.

We run a DTC supplement portfolio, and we need a remote editor who can generate, cut and ship a high volume of AI-built short-form ads and long-form sales videos without the quality sliding.

THE WORK

- Batches of short-form ads, hooks and variations for paid social, most of it generated rather than filmed

- Long-form VSLs and sales videos, plus their cutdowns

- Generative b-roll and visuals produced on demand to fill every gap in the footage

- AI-composed music and sound design so every cut has its own audio identity instead of a recycled library track

- AI voiceover, lip-sync, upscaling and cleanup where the edit calls for it

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE

- Deeply AI-fluent across video generation, image generation and music generation, all three, in daily use

- Fast at the generation stage, not just the edit. Knowing which model gets you a usable shot in two passes instead of twenty is the entire skill.

- Experienced in both long-form and short-form. This is not negotiable.

- Consistent under speed. Quick turnaround at a high quality bar is the core of this work.

- Technically strong underneath the AI: clean sound, sharp captions, tight motion graphics, correct exports every time

- Creatively opinionated. Bring us hook ideas and angles, do not just execute the ticket. We are tool-agnostic. Use whatever stack you have proven out, whether that is Runway, Kling, Veo, Sora, Seedance, Luma, Midjourney, Firefly, Suno, Udio or something we have not tried yet. We care about the output and your reasoning, not brand loyalty.

TOOL POLICY Contractors are not given access to our editing software, AI tools or paid subscriptions. You work on your own stack and your own AI subscriptions, so tell us what you have got.

TERMS Independent contractor, fully remote, contracted and paid through our Contractor Payment Portal. Hourly via Company's time tracker, 10-15 USD/hr. 30+ hours of work available per week, ongoing. Some overlap with US Pacific hours preferred.
