Short Form Video Editor

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to create engaging short-form video content, with a primary focus on Instagram Reels. This role involves editing raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping content that aligns with a distinct brand style and the needs of multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate is experienced with short-form editing, adaptable to different creative directions, and comfortable taking on related digital marketing and social media tasks as needs shift week to week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce short-form video content, primarily Instagram Reels
• Adapt editing style to match established brand aesthetics and creative direction
• Deliver finished, ready-to-publish video files for review and approval
• Manage content across multiple client accounts with varying styles and requirements
• Support additional social media and digital marketing tasks when video volume is lighter
• Assist with copywriting, email content, or basic marketing support as needed
• Submit end-of-shift reports summarizing completed work
• Track time accurately using shared tracking tools
• Adjust turnaround on urgent video requests when needed

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience editing short-form video content for Instagram Reels or similar platforms
• Proficiency with video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent tools
• Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, captions, and trends in short-form video
• Ability to follow and replicate a defined brand style
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Canva or other graphic design tools
• Copywriting or social media caption writing experience
• Familiarity with podcast or long-form audio/video editing
• Experience handling content for multiple clients or brands simultaneously
• Understanding of Instagram growth and engagement best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
