The Role
We're seeking an experienced
Video Editor. This role is designed for a creative professional with strong storytelling instincts, client-facing experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple projects and teams. You'll play a key role in producing high-quality video content for a variety of clients and genres, working closely with producers, creative directors, and the broader post-production team.
Location: Must be in Colombia Remote.
Environment: Colombian and International Teams.
Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).
Timezone: Monday to Friday [PST].
Contract: Non-fixed Term Colombian Contract.
Requirements
- Education: Certificate, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional experience in film/video editing
Experience
- Strong portfolio of previous work and completed projects
- Experience editing videos across multiple genres (documentary, commercial, educational, narrative, social)
- Client-facing experience is a plus
- Experience at a creative agency or on a corporate team is desirable
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with modern mediums and channels
- Good instincts for design to help guide VFX and graphical elements
- Excellent creativity and musicality, with a strong storytelling sense
- Time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and openness to feedback
- Ability to pivot creatively when needed
- Willingness to stay up-to-date on the latest creative software and hardware

Responsibilities
- Edit videos across a variety of genres including documentary, commercial, educational, narrative, and social
- Participate in pre-production to help guide creative approaches for edits
- Collaborate with the post-production team and attend project meetings
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during projects and propose creative solutions
- Contribute to workflow processes and help improve scalability across projects
Nice To Have
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve
- Familiarity with Adobe Audition
- Experience at a creative agency or within a corporate team
- Client-facing experience in a professional setting
