THIS IS HOW WE DESCRIBE THE ROLE:
You're the person who makes our ideas work on screen.
You sit with copy and art early, challenge the storyboard if it won't translate, and think in edits before the camera even rolls. In post, you shape the narrative. You build rhythm. You elevate emotion. You design and animate the motion graphics system so it feels branded, not generic. You're flexible across styles because our clients are different, and we don't do one house look. You turn strategy into a moving image with craft and discipline.
YOUR DAY IN A LIFE LOOKS LIKE THIS:
Pre-Production & STB Collaboration
- Sit with copywriters and art directors to co-design the storyboard (STB)
- Flag feasibility issues early: transitions, animation complexity, timing realities
- Suggest smarter ways to execute ideas within budget
- Think in edit before we even shoot
Narrative Editing
- Tell compelling stories through online editing by not just assembling footage, but shaping emotion, clarity, and tension through pacing, music, and sequencing
- Make strong editorial decisions that improve the narrative beyond what's written in the script
- Understand when to hold, when to cut, when to breathe, and when to accelerate
Motion Graphics & Online Finishing
- Design and animate supers, lower thirds, and CG elements
- Execute motion graphics aligned with client brand guidelines
- Adapt styles across different clients without looking templated
- Prepare final online versions in all required formats (16:9, 1:1, 9:16)
Continuous Creative Upgrading
- Stay updated with motion design trends, editing techniques, storytelling styles and platform formats
- Experiment with transitions, pacing styles, and animation approaches when they strengthen the story
- Push our creative boundaries while staying brand-aligned
YOU'LL BE A GREAT MATCH IF YOU HAVE:
- Strong Premiere + After Effects proficiency for a minimum of 3 years
- Clean typography and layout sense
- Understanding of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling
- Ability to execute multiple styles (corporate, bold campaign, social-first)
- Comfort receiving direct creative feedback
- Excellent attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
- Strong relationship management skills with both internal teams and external vendors
- Experience working in a high-autonomy, very fast-moving environment with a creative team setup
