Who You Are - Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in vendor management or vendor relations, including vendor onboarding, documentation, and ongoing vendor support
- Practical experience supporting accounts payable, procurement, or vendor operations
- Working knowledge of vendor compliance, fraud prevention controls, and risk management processes
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience using ERP platforms such as Workday, Oracle, or SAP
Preferred:
- Experience supporting U.S. healthcare or higher education vendor management
Core Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation
- Clear and professional written English communication
- Proactive problem-solving with fraud risk awareness
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Familiarity with SOP-driven workflows and compliance protocols
Tools Used:
- ERP Systems (e.g., Workday, GHX)
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Sanction Screening Tools and Document Management Systems
Your Daily Impact - Responsibilities
- Review vendor request forms for completeness and accuracy
- Validate vendor information, including company details and tax documentation, in accordance with standards
- Confirm and authenticate vendor banking information to prevent fraud attempts
- Conduct sanction checks to ensure compliance with federal and institutional guidelines
- Monitor the shared inbox to manage incoming vendor inquiries and requests promptly
- Route vendor update and addition requests to ASV in Workday for processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve vendor discrepancies and escalate issues as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor management workflows, compliance requirements, and fraud prevention practices
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation updates related to vendor onboarding and maintenance
