As a US Senior Bookkeeper, you are a critical guardian of financial integrity for our North American partners. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who understands the nuances of US accounting standards and can navigate complex financial data with ease. You won't just be reconciling accounts; you will be a strategic contributor, providing the insights and accuracy that allow US-based businesses and accounting firms to scale with confidence.
Your Impact
Master of Financial Accuracy: Take full ownership of client portfolios, ensuring all bookkeeping is current and meets the highest standards of accuracy. You will verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable with a zero-error mindset.
Architect of Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly Financial Statements and reports. Your work will provide the clarity needed for high-level decision-making, ensuring that the health of each business is transparent and audit-ready.
Month-End & Year-End Specialist: Lead the support for month-end and year-end close processes. By maintaining pristine reconciliations and assisting with tax return preparation, you ensure a seamless transition between fiscal periods for our global clients.
Operational Efficiency Leader: Move beyond basic compliance by suggesting innovative ways to improve efficiency and optimize spending. Your advanced knowledge of financial accounting statements allows you to act as a proactive problem-solver within the firm.
What You Bring
The Experience:Minimum 3-5+ years of dedicated bookkeeping experience specifically within a US accounting firm or SME environment. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, along with expert-level knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. You have a deep familiarity with financial accounting statements and US-specific reporting standards.
Core Competencies: Exceptional English business writing skills and a sharp eye for detail. You are a process-oriented professional who can manage the complexities of a US-aligned night shift while maintaining high levels of productivity.
