What You'll Do

Financial Reporting & GAAP Oversight

Lead and review month-end close processes across engagements

Ensure accurate, timely, and audit-ready financial statements

Apply U.S. GAAP to increasingly complex accounting areas

Research and resolve technical accounting issues with proper documentation

Strengthen internal controls, workflows, and financial reporting structure

Team Leadership & Quality Control

Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members

Delegate work, monitor timelines, and ensure quality standards

Provide structured feedback and performance guidance

Improve documentation standards and review processes

Support onboarding and serve as a technical resource

Client & Executive Partnership

Present financial results and insights to U.S. leadership teams

Translate financial data into clear business recommendations

Manage expectations, deadlines, and proactive communication

Identify risks, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions

Support year-round financial clarity and planning discussions

Operational & Strategic Finance Support

Improve processes, automation, and reporting workflows

Manage schedules and workflow across multiple engagements

Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning

Assist in special projects (system migrations, cleanups, audit support)

Drive continuous improvement in accounting delivery

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of U.S. accounting experience with leadership responsibilities

Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards

Experience reviewing month-end close and financial statements

Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency

Cloud accounting experience (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar)

Excellent written and verbal English communication

Strong documentation and problem-solving discipline

Willingness to work night shift aligned with U.S. time zones

Nice to Have

CPA, CMA, or equivalent senior-level experience

Experience in construction, nonprofit, government contracting, or project accounting

Experience leading distributed or remote teams

Systems implementation or automation experience
