US Accounting Manager

MAVI partners with US-based SMEs and growing businesses, embedding experienced accounting professionals directly into their finance operations.

We are hiring a US GL Lead who will take ownership of general ledger accounting and month-end close for US clients operating in lean, fast-moving environments.

This is not a layered corporate role.

You will work closely with US Controllers, founders, or finance leads where your contribution directly impacts decision-making.

What You Will Own

• Lead month-end close under US GAAP
• Manage general ledger accounting activities
• Review journal entries and accruals
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance
• Support audit readiness
• Improve close processes within evolving SME environments

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of US GAAP general ledger experience
• Demonstrated ownership of close cycles
• Comfort operating in lean, evolving environments
• Strong reconciliation and reporting expertise
• ERP exposure (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong English communication skills
