Role Summary:
We are looking for a high-performing Mid-Level Accountant who can operate with a strong level of independence and take ownership of core accounting processes.
This role is ideal for someone who has progressed beyond junior-level execution and is ready to handle end-to-end accounting responsibilities, while working closely with senior finance leadership.
You will play a key role in improving the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of financial information, while supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Accounting
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support or partially own the month-end close process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records
Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight
- Oversee and review AP and AR transactions
- Ensure timely billing, collections, and supplier payments
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Financial Reporting Support
- Assist in preparing:
- Profit & Loss statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash flow summaries
- Perform basic variance analysis and provide explanations
Process Ownership & Improvement
- Take ownership of assigned processes (e.g., cash cycle, AP cycle, FA cycle) and operating unit/s
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Support implementation of standardized workflows and controls
Systems & Data Management
- Work within accounting systems such as Oracle
- Ensure data integrity and proper documentation
- Utilize Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate with internal teams and/or offshore clients
- Follow up on outstanding items independently
- Provide clear updates on deliverables and timelines
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience handling end-to-end accounting tasks
- Exposure to BPO/shared services or offshore clients is highly preferred
- CPA is a plus, but not required

- Key processes (e.g., reconciliations, AP/AR) are well-managed and accurate
- Issues are identified early and resolved proactively
- Contributes to a more efficient and structured finance process
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Ability to perform presentations monthly with client audience
- Skills test will be required
Work Schedule:
11pm-8am / 12pm-9am local time (Work on site)
