Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based financial services firm offering a unique combination of bookkeeping, tax, financial planning, and business consulting services.
They work primarily with small business owners across various industries and pride themselves on being an all-in-one partner: helping clients manage their finances without the need to work with multiple providers.
Due to rapid growth, the firm is now looking to build a reliable offshore team to support operations, improve service quality, and scale sustainably.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is execution-focused, designed to provide immediate support to the founder by taking ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. You will primarily work behind the scenes, ensuring that client books are accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized. Client interaction will be minimal at the start, with potential exposure over time as you grow into the role.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to start strong in execution and grow into a more senior or leadership role in the future.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Categorize transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Ensure books are clean, updated, and ready for reporting
- Prepare and send financial reports (e.g., Profit & Loss statements)
- Identify discrepancies and follow up on missing information (e.g., bank statements)
- Track loans, credit cards, and basic asset/depreciation entries
- Assist with sales tax preparation (monthly/quarterly, depending on client)
- Maintain organized records and documentation across client accounts
- Support general accounting tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2–5+ years of experience in a U.S.-based accounting or bookkeeping role in a firm setting
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, financial statements)
- Experience handling multiple clients or accounts
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with U.S. sales tax filings
- Exposure to supporting tax preparation processes
- Experience working in a small or growing accounting firm
