Key tasks:
- Be the customers trusted advisor on how to design Linux based solutions and makes best use of company's operational capabilities.
- Consult the clints on the right solutions regarding security, availability, disaster recovery.
- Take part on customer projects, from small IOT test installation to large scale transitions.
- Ensure smooth transition of customers IT systems into company's operation.
- Bring in customer inspiration. As you will have a tight connection to the company Operations teams, you will be the voice of the customer bring in new perspectives that can guide company service development.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor's degree, and technical certifications.
- Extensive knowledge on UNIX/Linux administration supporting a large scale/global site from remote locations.
- Experience in AS400 administration
- At least 5 years solid working experience with extensive experience in daily operations/system administration with two or more UNIX/Linux flavors
Understanding the cores system of Unix/Linux operating systems:
- Files disk system, lvm
- Networking, internal FW
- User management, sudo
- Logging mechanisms
- Package management system, yum etc.
- High availability technology at least one
Primary operating systems are:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Ability to write/debug shell scripts.
- You have a consultant mindset and feel comfortable in a changing environment with many different tasks in motion at the same time.
- Profound knowledge of complex server operations and several years of experience with Red Hat or SUSE Enterprise Linux
- You have experience on one or more Cloud platforms Azure, AWS etc.
- You have taken relevant courses and obtained relevant certifications e.g. RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator, RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or RHCA (Red Hat Certified Architect).
- You know bash-shell scripting, Python Scripting, and preferably you can structure and write Ansible Playbooks
- We expect you to have knowledge of the basic ITIL processes.

- Ability to explain technical matters in non-technical terms to non-technical management level.
