Unit Inspection Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

Executes unit inspections using approved checklists, documents findings with clear evidence, and coordinates re‑inspection after rectification. Ensures units meet company standards before client viewing and turnover.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform unit inspection to the assigned projects on a regular basis.

2. Record manifestations, defects with precise location, severity, measurements, and evidence.

3. Ensure timely tagging of WM units and FA-received keys in QTOP.

4. Ensure that all manifestations of all units are reported and endorsed to the concerned department.

5. Ensure that all borrowed and endorsed keys are monitored and recorded accordingly, via manual monitoring and QTOP Tagging.

6. Assist the Pre-Turnover Unit Inspection Supervisor regarding unit inspection and unit status.

7. Coordinates with the Pre-Turnover Unit Assistant regarding unit inspection schedule and key borrowing.

8. Report the daily manifestations in the unit to Pre-Turnover Unit Inspection Supervisor.

9. Properly log the movement of keys, such as borrowed keys and transmittals to the concerned department.

10. Conduct an inventory of unit keys at least once a month.

11. Collaborate with the team and other department to ensure smooth flow of processes and operations.

12. Provide support to management in report preparation and coordination with other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Real Estate, Property Management or related field

2. Preferably with at least 1-year work experience related to construction/real estate QA or unit inspections.

3. Technical: Basic understanding of finishing standards, measurements, minor MEPF checks, cleanliness criteria, etc.
