Job Description

Position: Senior Underwriting Analyst - Health

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday- onsite

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Actuarial Science, or related field

5+ years of experience in health insurance underwriting

Strong understanding of medical conditions and risk factors

Familiarity with pricing, actuarial inputs, and product development

Strong judgment, attention to detail, and data skills

Job Purpose

The Health Underwriter will assess medical risks, develop underwriting guidelines, and ensure sound pricing of individual and group health policies. This role supports the development of sustainable, competitive products and collaborates across teams to manage risk and maintain portfolio health.
