Our Mining and Geotechnical Team is looking for Site Engineer that will help provide assistance to the project lead in the preparation and implementation of design plans, technical specifications and methodologies, and project management monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Acts as QA/QC in site and facilitate QA/QC coordination meeting to update status on given workload
• Ensure that all the inspections are carried out and conducted complying with the inspection and site plan
• Studying the work plan submitted by the contractor and suggests any modifications.
• To watch and inspect the site works and assure that it is done in full accordance with the contract and technical specifications.
• Supervising the works on site in accordance with the contract.
• Inspecting and testing materials prior to their use at site as per QAQC procedure.
• Ensuring the correct implementation of the site works according to technical specifications and quality of materials
• Checking and testing of completed works before they are covered by the contractor, taking photos on a regular basis and also on account of defective work.
• Checking and ensuring that the site is arranged as per the site management plan and that all measures are taken for site safety and the safety of the third parties in the vicinity of the site.
• Ensuring that health and safety measures are adopted and followed to the full extent.
• Prepares daily and weekly report and suggest and instruct additional safety measures if needed.
• Preparation of list of critical items and its close monitoring.
• Maintain a filing system for all site memos and instructions, measured quantities of work and materials on site, reports and other documents and correspondence pertaining to the painting activities.
• Maintain a site order book to be made available for the Senior Officers to write comments or defects in site works noticed during site visits and carrying out compliance at site.
• Provide data management support during planning and execution phases of the project life cycle.
• Other related tasks that may be assigned by Project Manager.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

Experience

• General Experience: Established 5+ years experience in the mining and construction industry.
• Knowledge of the required testing and hold points during TSF construction
• Focus on client servicein terms of project safety

This job offer is project contract to be based onsite.
