As a Treasury Manager, you will be assigned under Mitsubishi Motors Finance Philippines Inc. (MMFPI) a joint venture between Security Bank Corporation, a leading universal bank in the Philippines and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, a global automobile company based in Japan.
You will be responsible for overseeing treasury operations of the auto captive financing business, including cash/liquidity management, funding, bank relationships, risk, and regulatory compliance. Ensures optimal liquidity, cost-efficient funding, and business growth while adhering to BSP and internal policies.
How you'll contribute:
- Contributes to strategic planning, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives, serving as liaison between finance, risk, operations, and banking partners.
- Cash & Liquidity Management. Monitor and reconcile daily cash positions across all operating and loan accounts.
- Bank Relationship Management. Oversee opening, maintenance, and closure of bank accounts in compliance with BSP and internal KYC requirements.
- Funding & Capital Management. Plan an annual funding plan as a part of annual business plan (BP) and review and update periodically.
- Risk Management & Compliance. Monitor foreign exchange, interest rate and liquidity risk exposure, executing hedging transactions as needed.
- Reporting & Analysis. Prepare and distribute daily cash position and funding summaries.
- Systems & Process Improvement. Oversee treasury management related systems (TMS) or ERP cash modules.
- Strategic & Cross-Functional Engagement. Participate in asset liability related meetings, providing insights on liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk.
- Ensure BSP compliance by coordinating reporting timelines, maintaining KYC/BIR requirements, monitoring rates, and planning seasonal funding needs.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
- 5-8 years of treasury or corporate finance experience, preferably in auto financing or banking.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, bank operations, and BSP regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and MS Excel; experience with ERP cash modules is a plus.
