  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Reconciliation (Recon) staff, provide guidance, administer payroll
  • Perform, review and manage the resolution of general ledger reconciliations for the Treasury department, including working with other departments to achieve resolution
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheet reviews, including following up with relevant departments to ensure prompt resolution of balance issues.
  • Manage client payment posting duties, which include posting, balancing, general ledger entries and
  • communicating with management regarding the status of payments.
  • Maintain client data, process corrections, and prepare AR Statements within PeopleSoft.
  • Manage weekly or monthly Aging and Borrowing Base Calculations.
  • Manage AR collections to ensure DSO remains within company targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all established deadlines, controls, and SOPs
  • Lead client and state Treasury audits and prepare Licensing and Bond calculations for annual renewals.
  • Provide all GL mapping and ensure it is complete and accurate for transactions processed through various systems.
  • Maintain departmental procedures.
  • Prepare and/or approve journal entries.
  • Set deadlines and overtime to ensure all tasks are completed and assign overtime as needed.
  • Understand and meet all daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
  • Perform staff job reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Perform and understand all job tasks within area of responsibility.
  • Provide clear and concise communication with direct reports, coworkers and managers
  • Maintain concentration and focus to meet performance goals
  • Maintain good working relationships with assigned supervisors and coworkers
  • Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others
  • Perform additional duties as required by management and work overtime as required to accomplish departmental goals.
