Job Description

Job purpose

IWG PLC Group Treasury is focused on attaining a high degree of centralization and is operating an in-house bank which acts as the primary provider of various financial services to operating units on an arm's length basis. In carrying out this function, the Group Treasury in Switzerland is supported by a Global Service Centre (GSC) Treasury team in Manila. As a member of the Group Treasury team, the GSC Treasury Analyst will have the responsibility to assess day to day funding requirements for assigned countries, handle cash shortage and surplus, provide timely cash reports and should understand compliance, regulatory and controls in banking and financial environments. The position is also responsible in processing high value payments, carrying out intercompany invoicing and netting processes, managing bank accounts and supporting bank guarantee activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages day to day fund monitoring
  • Calculates cash requirements and accomplishes intercompany loan requests
  • Processes inter-account transfers and cross border payments
  • Prepares daily, weekly and monthly cash reports
  • Administers opening and closing of bank accounts and maintains the bank account database
  • Does daily bank account reconciliation for Treasury accounts
  • Calculates intercompany loan facility requirements and creates loan agreements
  • Runs the monthly intercompany netting process and quarterly loan interest invoicing
  • Generates and distributes the Group monthly FX rates
  • Configures entity accounts in the Treasury Management System (City Financials/Tcube)
  • Supports the issuance, amendment, cancellation and reconciliation of bank guarantees (rental)
  • Maintains updated Key Operating Procedures
  • Performs other duties that may be required to support the Group Treasury

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field
  • At least 2 years of treasury or banking experience
  • Knowledge of the international financial services industry
  • BPO or Shared Service Centre experience is an advantage
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational ability
  • Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
  • Must be a highly motivated individual. Someone who can work proactively and independently
