FINISHED GOODS TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR

Job Purpose: Handle resource management, process improvements, and productivity projects on FG Export Transport Planning & Operations to ensure timeliness, increase productivity/efficiency in accordance with national and international regulatory and statutory requirements and support cost-effective initiatives aligned with the Management's long-term directions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage resources, such as, container vans, truckers, shipping lines, forwarders, container yard, CY equipment, and manpower to meet export market orders/shipments.
• Conduct performance evaluation of providers to monitor service levels.
• Assess the effectiveness and productivity of current processes and structures.
• Develop standard operating procedures and performance standards.
• Review process and systems and adjust requirements to improve deliveries.
• Works closely with shipping lines and truckers the resources needed to ensure all the deliveries are within the required timing and cost.
• Resource planning for material handling equipment and manpower to ensure continuity of operations.
• Develop cost reduction programs/productivity projects/process improvements to minimize cost
• Responsible in monitoring resources and related costs to prevent excessive expenditure
• Works closely with warehouse operations team on the timing of trucks availability to ensure on time deliveries and avoid penalties
• Develop a robust system of monitoring container age to manage detention and demurrage cost

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of any 4-year course.
2. Proficient in MS applications.
3. Knowledge in SAP Materials & Warehouse Management operations and transport module.

Relevant Experience:

1. Working knowledge in Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) system.
2. Knowledge in Container Yard management.
3. Knowledge in Port Operations.
4. Experience in data and process management.
5. Knowledge in PEZA and BOC requirements.

Interested candidates must be willing to work onsite at Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental on a 6-day workweek schedule.
