Purpose:
- Responsible for month end close of all inventories related accounts
- Perform complex analysis of commission accounting analysis
General:
- Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise.
- Uses best practices and knowledge of business issues to improve services
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify solutions
- Works independently; receives minimal guidance
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience including offshore support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles ledger accounts
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts related to inventory
- Perform analysis and make necessary adjustment related to commission accounting
- Prepares reserve analysis to ensure sufficient provision on balance sheet
- Perform close activities and assists with inquiries related to Powerland legal entity
- Prepares monthly corporate submission as part of close process
- Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness accounting department
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
