Job Summary:

The Transaction Services Associate supports the Financial Due Diligence team in analyzing and interpreting financial data to deliver high-quality insights for M&A transactions. The role involves summarizing financial information, preparing data books, reconciling management data with audited statements, identifying key trends and anomalies, and assisting in report preparation and review. Working closely with senior team members and global counterparts, the Associate Consultant contributes to the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of deliverables. This position is ideal for individuals with strong analytical and accounting foundations who are eager to develop expertise in deal advisory within a collaborative, high-performing environment.   • Summarizing and analyzing financial information (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets and cash flows).
  • Preparation of data books in accordance with firm and professional standards and in accordance with the requirements of the project.
  • Reconciling information provided by management with the audited financial information.
  • Identification of issues and carrying out the relevant financial analysis.
  • Highlighting unusual trends, observations and framing questions for management.
  • Performing review of KPMG reports for consistency.
  • Establishing strong professional relationships with team members.

What You Need To Have:

  • An MBA in Finance, CFA, CPA, CA, or a postgraduate degree in Finance or CA.
  • Experience (if any) in analyzing financial statements, with a strong understanding of accounting concepts.
  • A strong interest in Deal Advisory and a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
  • High integrity and the ability to build trust with teammates and clients.
  • Strong work ethic and motivation, able to meet tight deadlines and handle pressure.
  • Flexibility to work on different projects, adjust working hours, and adapt to various work environments or locations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
