Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager plays a key role in leading and executing financial due diligence engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and insightful financial analysis. The role involves conducting end-to-end due diligence, preparing key sections of FDD/VDD reports, analyzing financial statements, identifying trends and issues, and engaging directly with clients or target management. The Assistant Manager also reviews and mentors junior team members, manages project timelines, and supports business development activities. - Conducting end to end financial due diligence.
- Identification of issues and carrying out the relevant financial analysis.
- Undertaking smaller assignments or assisting in larger assignments reporting to Associate Director or Director.
- Writing Sections of an FDD / VDD report.
- Analyzing in depth the financial information (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets and cash flows).
- Highlighting unusual trends observations and frame questions for management.
- Interacting with the client or target management.
- Reviewing data books prepared in accordance with firm and professional standards and in accordance with the requirements of the project.
- Reviewing the work performed by the subordinates and coaching them.
- Establishing strong professional relationships with onshore team members.
- Providing support/assistance for proposals/business development.
What You Need To Have:
- A degree or qualification such as CA, MBA, CFA, M.Com, or a postgraduate degree in Commerce.
- 57 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in: Professional services firms, Third-party KPOs, Internal research or strategy teams within technology companies.
- A strong interest in Deal Advisory and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for your work.
- High level of integrity and the ability to build trust with colleagues and clients.
- Strong drive and work ethic, with the ability to perform well under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Flexibility to work on different types of projects, adjust working hours, and adapt to various work environments or locations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
