The Technical Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality, competency-based training to apprentices and trainees in accordance with Sandvik standards. This role involves curriculum development, hands-on instruction, learner assessment, and coordination with industry partners to ensure training outcomes align with labor market needs
Training Delivery
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions based on approved curriculum.
- Facilitate learning using modern instructional techniques and tools.
- Ensure training aligns with TESDA competency standards and industry practices.
Curriculum & Material Development
- Develop and update training modules, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
- Customize content to meet learner needs and evolving industry trends.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Administer competency-based assessments and provide feedback.
- Monitor trainee progress and maintain accurate records of performance.
Facility & Equipment Management
- Ensure training equipment and tools are properly maintained and safe to use.
- Recommend procurement or upgrades of training resources as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with industry partners for apprenticeship placements and feedback.
- Participate in program reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Apprentice Support
- Mentor and guide apprentices during on-the-job training.
- Promote values, work ethics, and safety practices in the workplace.
