Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Trading Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Trading Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily trading operations of agricultural commodities, including rice, sugar, grains, and other soft commodities. This role involves supervising trading teams, ensuring accurate and timely execution of trades, managing supplier and customer relationships, monitoring market movements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and international trade regulations. The Trading Supervisor plays a key role in driving commercial performance and minimizing trading risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in commodity trading (rice, sugar, grains, or other agri-products), with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior trading role.
• Strong knowledge of commodity markets, pricing structures, logistics, and supply chain operations.
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience in international trading and import/export documentation.
• Experience with trade finance instruments (letters of credit, bills of lading, Incoterms).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP or trading systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple transactions under pressure.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
