Responsibilities

As a Trade Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and

maintenance of our trading platforms (MT4, MT5, cTrader), ensuring their optimal performance and

availability. You will work closely with our IT, development and trading teams to manage platform

infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the seamless execution of trades. Your knowledge of

Windows administration, networking, and scripting will be critical in supporting platform operations

and enhancements.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain MT4, MT5, and cTrader servers and associated

components, ensuring consistent uptime and performance.

Administer financial products, including setting up and maintaining new and existing

instruments across trading platforms.

Collaborate with the IT, Risk, and Development teams to support platform development,

system integrations, and new product rollouts.

Monitor platform performance, ensuring system availability, reliability, and stability by

conducting routine performance checks and backups.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trading platforms, escalating and

collaborating with external vendors when necessary.

Conduct system audits and health checks to identify and preemptively address potential risks or

performance bottlenecks.

Manage and maintain server environments, including Windows-based systems, ensuring

secure and efficient operation.

Implement scripting solutions for task automation, monitoring, and maintenance

processes.

Ensure networking infrastructure supports platform requirements, including latency

optimization and secure data transmissions.

Document processes related to trading platform administration and ensure up-to-date system

configurations.

Stay informed of platform updates and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with

technical standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

Solid understanding of the Forex Industry

Hands-on experience with MetaTrader 4/5 (MT4/MT5) and cTrader platform

administration.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Graylog, Kibana) to ensure platform uptime

and reliability.

Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve platform-related

technical issues efficiently.

Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive approach to system

monitoring and maintenance.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

MetaTrader 5 Administrator Certification from MetaQuotes will be highly beneficial.

Windows system administration skills, including experience managing servers in a trading

environment.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and task

management.

Networking knowledge, including basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues and

optimisation for low-latency environments.

Familiarity with SQL queries for database administration and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:

BSc/MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the financial or trading industry.
