The Trade Marketing Professional leads the development and execution of trade marketing initiatives that translate brand strategies into effective in-market activations. The role works closely with marketing, commercial, and operations teams to ensure that customer-focused programs are implemented effectively across key channels. This position also leverages market insights, shopper behavior, and performance data to drive category growth, strengthen brand presence at the point of purchase, and support the achievement of business objectives.
What You'll Do:
- Translate brand strategies into effective below-the-line (BTL) activations that drive conversion at the point of sale and support category growth.
- Work closely with Marketing and commercial teams to ensure brand initiatives are executed effectively across both offline and online customer touchpoints.
- Support the achievement of sales and growth targets by developing trade initiatives that strengthen competitiveness within the category.
- Utilize customer insights, market data, and performance analytics to guide activation strategies and support business decision-making.
- Develop and implement merchandising solutions based on shopper behavior and path-to-purchase insights to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Plan and deploy merchandising materials, including sustaining collaterals and tactical assets for campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
- Provide store allocations and implementation guidelines to support consistent execution across locations.
- Monitor and track in-market execution to ensure initiatives are implemented on time and with proper visibility.
- Design and implement customer-focused promotional campaigns that drive sales and strengthen brand presence at the point of purchase.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to launch promotional initiatives aligned with seasonal campaigns, key occasions, and product activations.
- Provide forecasts for trade activations to help ensure product availability during promotional periods.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and trade initiatives and share insights for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and communicate activation plans, operating guidelines, and updates to operational teams and partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Coordinate with suppliers and partner agencies to ensure timely delivery and execution of marketing materials and initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in trade marketing, retail marketing or local store marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling market research data and performance metrics.
- Willing to conduct regular fieldwork and travel within Luzon.
- Willing to work on a hybrid work arrangement based in Ortigas, Pasig City.
