The Trade Finance Product Manager leads the development, enhancement, and administration of Trade Services and Trade Finance products.
As Business Owner/Manager of Trade Products
- Develops and implements marketing strategies for Trade Services and Trade Finance solutions
- Monitors the performance of Trade Services and Trade Finance products in terms of profitability and market share
- Prepares product performance reports on a regular basis, as determined by the Product Head.
- Ensures the products remain competitive in the market.
- Ensures overall product compliance to internal and external policies and regulations, such as but not limited to BSP, Internal Audit, BPI Risk and Compliance.
- Provides overall direction and strategy for the products including forecasting, planning and marketing of products.
- Ensures that policies, standards, and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to establish relevance and effectiveness.
- Manage document negotiation and approvals for deals aligned with the bank's trade governance standards
Product Initiatives and Enhancements
- Identifies change requirements based on updates in regulation
- Identifies actionable insights based on data and customer feedback
- Leads product innovations and process improvements according to the Product Management standards of the bank
- Creates and implements the business requirements for new initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- At least 2 years experience in banking or product/project management in a different industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Appetite for challenging assignments
- Project management experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of banking products, particularly Trade Services and Trade Finance products is an advantage
