TOSCA Automation Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Tosca Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Tosca tools and a strong foundation in API, database, and web/mobile test automation. This role requires adherence to process, fast learning, and effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain Tosca Modules (TBox/XScan), Test Cases, and TestCase Design templates & data.

Execute automated tests across Web, Mobile, API, and DB layers (Tosca API Scan, SQL validations).

Prepare and run Execution Lists (local/DEX), monitor test runs, and analyze failures.

Maintain test data (TDS/TDX) and perform environment prechecks to ensure stable runs.

Log defects with clear evidence and update traceability in Jira.

Contribute to daily status reports and dashboards.

Follow established best practices and coding/asset standards; document test assets.

Support SIT/UAT cycles including regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

Qualifications

Practical experience with Tosca Commander, TBox, XScan, TestCase Design, Execution Lists, and basic API Scan.

Working knowledge of REST, XML/JSON, and SQL for validations.

Strong detail orientation, adherence to process, and willingness to learn quickly.

Nice to Have

Exposure to Supply Chain Management workflows and testing.

Experience testing Oracle applications.

Awareness of KPIs/SLAs (coverage, pass rate, flakiness).

Familiarity with reporting tools.

Certifications (Preferred)

Tricentis Certified Automation Specialist (TCAS) L1 and/or Automation Engineer L1.

ISTQB or CSTE Foundation level certification.
