The Tools and Equipment Assistant is in-charge of issuing and safekeeping of all tools and equipment required in aircraft maintenance of PAL express.
Who Are We Looking For
- Must be a graduate of a Bachelor's Degree (4-year course) related to Aviation
- Applicants with welding training or experience are preferred
- Experience in Tool Room/Shops is also an advantage
- Knowledgeable in different tools and equipment used in Aircraft Maintenance Operations
- Must be willing to be assigned permanently in Cebu.
Major Responsibility Areas
- Issue tools / equipment according to the established process and ensure that all transaction is completely documented and logged in.
- Check serviceability or calibrate due date of tools and equipment before issuing.
- Inform Production Control Division on tools and equipment that is required or will be required by a current or upcoming check or maintenance task.
- Check tools/equipment returned after use for damage and proper tagging before putting it back to the designated storage bin.
- Maintain an updated record of calibration due date of all precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Send all tools and equipment to Warehouse due for calibration and/or testing. Route all unserviceable tools for repair.
- Safe keeps and maintains cleanliness of all tools and equipment including the whole tool room.
