Roles and Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy - design, document, and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans aligned with business goalsincluding scope definition, timelines, risk assessments, resource planning, and
- Test Automation - develop and oversee test automation strategies; execute and monitor automated testing activities when needed
- Resource & Team Management - lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of testers (manual and automation). Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, role assignment, and performance evaluation to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Test Monitoring oversee test case execution, defect tracking, test environment setup, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and resolve issues to keep testing on track.
- Defect & Risk Management - manage the defect lifecycle, including logging, prioritizing, and verification. Conduct risk analysis and apply mitigation strategies to safeguard testing quality.
- Process Improvement & Quality Assurance - define and enforce QA policies, procedures, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Embrace best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 25010).
- Stakeholder Management - provide regular updates to stakeholders including testing progress, metrics (coverage, defect trends), and overall quality status. Use insights to inform decision-making and project direction.
- DevOps Integration - integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines or DevOps workflows for continuous delivery.
- Budgeting & Cost Management - when applicable, estimate testing effort and manage budgets for personnel, tools, training, and infrastructure. Ensure resource efficiency within project constraints.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience working as a test manager
- At least five years of experience being involved in testing activities on SAP projects;
- Extensive experience in automated testing is a must; at least 3 years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of Tosca Tricentis is required; at least 3 years of experience
- Knowledge in work management tools (DevOps, Cloud ALM or JIRA) is a plus
- Willing to work EU shift or travel internationally when needed.
