Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in manual and automation testing within the banking domain, specifically with payments projects. The candidate will lead end-to-end testing activities, develop test plans, and drive quality assurance efforts while maintaining direct client and stakeholder communication. Hands-on engagement in both manual and automated testing is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Master Test Plans and SIT Test Plans focused on payments systems and banking applications.
- Lead and mentor testing teams specialized in both manual functional testing and automation frameworks.
- Execute hands-on testing activities involving manual test execution, automation test script validation, and defect management.
- Drive quality standards in payments-related projects, ensuring compliance with banking industry regulations and client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with banking product owners, business analysts, developers, and clients to ensure alignment on test coverage and risk mitigation.
- Manage testing schedules, resources, and reporting to meet stringent banking project deadlines.
- Conduct daily client and stakeholder meetings to provide status updates, risk assessments, and issue escalation.
- Advocate and implement best practices for both manual and automated testing within regulated financial environments.
- Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, Tosca, or equivalent for regression and payment workflow validation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-4 years as a Test Manager and 5 years as a Test Lead with significant banking/payments experience.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, banking workflows, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in manual testing and automation frameworks relevant to banking systems.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance for financial services.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills for collaboration with diverse banking stakeholders.
- Hands-on ability to contribute to testing execution and defect resolution.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools widely used in banking QA projects.
