Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with 810+ years of proven test management experience, including significant exposure to the banking or financial services industry. The Test Manager will be responsible for defining the testing strategy, leading large QA teams, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance, and delivering high-quality systems across core banking, digital channels, and enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the overall test strategy, test governance, and quality standards across multiple banking applications.
- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities including system testing, integration testing, UAT support, regression testing, and production readiness.
- Manage QA teams, vendors, and offshore/onshore resources; provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and technology teams to align testing activities with business and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure testing compliance with banking regulations, security standards, data privacy policies, and audit requirements.
- Oversee test planning, estimation, scheduling, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Drive test automation strategy, tool selection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate quality risks, defects, and dependencies early in the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide executive-level reporting on test progress, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness.
- Support UAT coordination with business users and ensure smooth production releases.
- Continuously improve QA processes using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 810+ years of experience as a Test Manager or QA Manager, leading enterprise-scale testing programs.
- Strong experience in the Banking (e.g., core banking, payments, lending, cards, digital banking).
- Proven experience managing large QA teams and multiple concurrent projects.
- Deep understanding of banking systems, regulatory compliance, and security standards.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools.
- Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
- Experience working in Agile, SAFe, and Waterfall environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
