Job Summary
Key Responsibilities -
• Define Test Strategy: Establish and implement test plans, QA frameworks, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Lead End-to-End Testing: Oversee functional, integration, regression, UAT, and automation testing (Performance testing is optional).
• Defect Management: Manage the defect lifecycle, track QA metrics/KPIs, and ensure timely resolution.
• Team Leadership: Mentor QA/Test/Automation leads, manage teams of 10–30 testers, and coordinate with vendors/stakeholders.
• Skill Competencies -
•
o Test Management Tools: Understanding of tools like JIRA for tracking testing methodologies
o Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress (Optional), TestNG/JUnit, REST Assured.
o CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Git, Confluence.
o Testing Expertise: AS400 (MainFrame Application) , API testing, SQL for data validation.
o Methodologies: Agile/Scrum
• Experience level
•
o 10+ years of QA/testing experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role (Test Lead, QA Manager).
o Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing techniques.
o Domain experience in BFSI (Insurance)
