We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead end-to-end quality assurance initiatives for enterprise-scale insurance applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both manual and automation testing, proven leadership experience managing QA teams, and hands-on expertise in delivering testing across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and QA frameworks using risk-based testing methodologies.
- Lead end-to-end testing activities, including Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Automation Testing. Performance testing experience is an advantage.
- Oversee the complete defect management lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution while tracking QA metrics and KPIs.
- Manage, mentor, and develop QA, Test, and Automation Leads, leading teams of 10–30 testers across multiple projects.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, and automation adoption.
- Ensure testing deliverables meet quality standards, project timelines, and business objectives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 4 years of leadership experience as a Test Lead, QA Manager, or Test Manager.
- Strong expertise in both manual and automation testing.
- Experience managing QA activities for large-scale enterprise projects with global or distributed teams.
- Domain experience in BFSI, with Insurance industry experience highly preferred.

- Hands-on experience using JIRA and other test management or defect tracking tools.

- Exposure to automation frameworks such as:

- Playwright
- Cypress (preferred but optional)

- REST Assured
- CI/CD & DevOps
- Experience working with:
- Jenkins
- Git
- Confluence
- Technical Skills
- Experience testing AS400 (Mainframe) applications.
- Strong knowledge of API Testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation and data verification.
- Methodologies
- Agile / Scrum delivery experience.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in enterprise digital transformation or modernization programs.
- Performance testing exposure is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
