The Opportunity.
The Test Lead is responsible for end-to-end ownership of testing across multiple applications, ensuring seamless coordination of test planning, execution, reporting, and quality governance. This role serves as the main point of escalation, manages day-to-day test operations, and drives delivery excellence across the testing team.
The Role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end testing across multiple applications and integrations.
- Own test execution plans, resource allocation, environment readiness, and deliverables.
- Manage defect triage, stakeholder communication, and high-severity escalations.
- Oversee execution of functional, regression, integration, E2E, and production validation testing.
- Coordinate test data strategy, environment validation, and readiness checkpoints.
- Produce daily and weekly test reports, dashboards, and SLA adherence documentation.
- Ensure compliance to processes, timelines, and quality standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior, mid, and senior testers.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical test activities and outage-related cycles.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to automation adoption.
The Expertise.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- ISTQB Advanced / Test Manager Certification preferred.
Experience & Background:
- 912+ years of QA/testing experience.
- Proven experience leading testing for enterprise-scale or multi-system environments.
- Experience coordinating with development, business, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong test planning, reporting, and stakeholder management experience.
Technical Skills:
- End-to-end test leadership
- Strong understanding of all test types (functional, regression, E2E, API)
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks
- Proficiency in test management & defect tracking systems
