About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to support the Trade, Supply Chain, and Microfinance (TSCMF) product delivery team.
The role will drive end-to-end test automation activities, including automation strategy, framework development, test script design, execution, maintenance, reporting, and knowledge transfer. You will work closely with Automation Architects, business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to deliver scalable, maintainable automation solutions that improve software quality, reduce testing effort, and maximize automation ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and test cases to identify automation opportunities and define automation scope.
- Conduct automation feasibility assessments and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to recommend automation strategies, tools, and standards.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable automation components.
- Automate testing across Web/UI, API, Database, Desktop, Cloud, and Enterprise applications.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
- Monitor automation execution, troubleshoot failures, and analyze results to maintain script stability.
- Manage test assets, execution results, defects, and reporting using Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Analyze automation metrics, trends, and quality indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present automation status reports, dashboards, risks, issues, and quality metrics.
- Ensure adherence to automation standards, governance processes, and best practices.
- Support test closure, knowledge transfer, and BAU handover of automation assets and documentation.
- Conduct manual testing when required, including preparing and executing test cases and documenting evidence and results.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Test Automation Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Software Testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and platforms such as Datadog, Power Automate, and other industry-leading automation solutions.
- Proven experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining enterprise-level test automation frameworks and solutions.
- Experience working in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise application environments.
Nice to Have
