Role purpose
Plan, design, and execute testing activities across multiple technology platforms. Work closely with product owners, developers, and internal teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. Support continuous improvement of testing processes and contribute to robust, supportable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for applications, modules, and integrations.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across platform changes and releases.
- Document and report defects, track resolution, and verify fixes in collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
- Maintain test data, environments, and support automated testing.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through to test coverage and results.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
- Produce clear testing documentation, including test results, defect logs, and user-facing guides.
- Support BAU by validating incident and problem fixes and contribute to knowledge articles.
- Contribute to platform governance, including update sets, release notes, and environment promotion.
Required skills and experience
- 24 years experience in software testing or quality assurance within an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect management, and test documentation.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and consulting skills.
- Experience with performance or security testing, and familiarity with SQL or scripting languages (bonus).
