Job Description
The Territory Sales Manager will act as the primary commercial representative for the Philippine market, responsible for driving both new business and long-term account growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Being the frontline representative to telecom clients and channel partners.
- Managing the full sales cycle-from opportunity identification to closure.
- Maintaining and expanding strategic relationships, particularly with major clients in the PH market.
- Developing and executing business plans, forecasts, and account strategies.
- Engaging, motivating, and growing the top-performing channel partners.
- Working cross-functionally with sales engineering, project management, bid management, supply chain, and solution teams for RFPs and complex bids.
- Ensuring pipeline accuracy, territory profitability, and alignment with regional commercial strategy.
- Operating independently while collaborating closely with regional leadership across APAC and EMEA.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Territory Sales Manager Should Have
- 5+ years of B2B experience in telecommunications.
- Experience managing relationships with telecom operators; microwave/backhaul exposure is a plus.
- A track record of driving revenue through both hunting and account management.
- Experience working with channel partners within the telco ecosystem.
- Strong English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to forecast, plan, and manage complex opportunities.
- Independence, discipline, and the ability to operate as a one-person commercial team.
- Technical understanding sufficient to collaborate with engineering teams on RFPs and solution design.
