Key Job Objective:

A Territory Sales Manager oversees sales operations within a defined geographic area, ensuring quotas are met, strategies are executed, and teams are trained to drive growth.

They act as the link between corporate sales goals and local execution, balancing leadership, strategy, and customer engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the assigned territory.
  • Set clear sales targets and monitor progress against quotas.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and train sales representatives in the territory.
  • Provide coaching, performance reviews, and motivation to achieve results.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.

Market Analysis

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Reporting

  • Prepare regular sales reports for senior management.

Track KPIs such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
