Job Description
A Telesales Agent s responsible for contacting potential or existing customers by phone to promote products or services, generate sales, and maintain customer relationships. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while providing excellent customer service and accurate product information.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products or services.
- Handle inbound inquiries from customers interested in the companys offerings.
- Explain product features, benefits, and pricing to customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, sales, and customer information in the system.
- Follow up with potential customers to close sales opportunities.
- Address customer questions, objections, and concerns professionally.
- Update customer databases and maintain call logs.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to improve sales strategies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, call center, or customer service is an advantage.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
- Good listening and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and CRM systems.
- Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure.
