Your impact
Design low-voltage telecommunications and ICT systems (structured cabling, networks, security, fire alarm, AV) from concept through detailed design for data centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications and installation details for ICT systems.
- Review shop drawings and submittals; coordinate with clients, vendors and other disciplines.
- Conduct site visits; ensure designs comply with codes and owner requirements.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects; act as subject-matter expert for telecom design.
Here's what you'll need
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field; PRC Electronics Engineer (ECE) license.
- 10+ years designing low-voltage/ICT systems for mission-critical facilities.
- Familiarity with BICSI and TIA/EIA standards, NFPA 72 and local fire codes.
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM and AutoCAD.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience with security systems, wireless, and fibre infrastructure in data centres.
- BICSI RCDD or similar certification.
