Job Description

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in Tekla Structures.
  • Good knowledge of structural steel detailing.
  • Strong proficiency in reading architectural & structural drawings is a must.
  • Knowledge of Australian standards is an advantage.
  • Auto cad / Revit experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Working experience with laser scanning and pointcloud is an advantage but not essential.

Key Skills:


  • Ability to work independently and detail a whole project from start to completion.
  • Strong drawing and presentations skills.
  • Strong English communication skills.

Tasks & Responsibilities


  • 3D modelling of structural steel in Tekla Structures.
  • Coordinate with consultant's 3D models / architects & engineer's drawings.
  • Produce assemblies, single part drawings and marking plans.
  • Produce IFC models / digital files to allow for automated steel processing.
  • Providing information from Tekla to allow for digital set outs onsite.
  • Liaise with project managers / clients / consultants.
