Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in Tekla Structures.
- Good knowledge of structural steel detailing.
- Strong proficiency in reading architectural & structural drawings is a must.
- Knowledge of Australian standards is an advantage.
- Auto cad / Revit experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Working experience with laser scanning and pointcloud is an advantage but not essential.
Key Skills:
- Ability to work independently and detail a whole project from start to completion.
- Strong drawing and presentations skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- 3D modelling of structural steel in Tekla Structures.
- Coordinate with consultant's 3D models / architects & engineer's drawings.
- Produce assemblies, single part drawings and marking plans.
- Produce IFC models / digital files to allow for automated steel processing.
- Providing information from Tekla to allow for digital set outs onsite.
- Liaise with project managers / clients / consultants.
