Job Summary:
Looking for a Payments Professional having expertise in card issuance and management ecosystem along with knowledge in Payment schemes and switches.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of card products, including Card Issuance, lifecycle management, and complex BIN routing strategies.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for integrations between Payment Switches and Core Deposit Systems to ensure seamless real-time processing for debit products.
- Oversee critical card functions including Hot Tagging (blocking), Softblocking, and the configuration of transaction limits to mitigate risk and enhance user experience.
- Navigate the technical and compliance requirements of major Card Schemes (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
- Convert technical hurdles into business opportunities for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Has Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or any related field.
- Must have 6+ years of overall experience in the payments or card space.
- Proven experience managing card limits, status transitions (Hot/Soft blocks), and the nuances of card issuance.
- Deep knowledge on various ISO message formats
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging or similar payment protocols.
- Experience with Core Banking/Deposit System integrations.
- Strategic understanding of interchange, scheme fees, and routing optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously
- Must be amenable to work on a day shift schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
- Must be amenable to work in a hybrid setup (3-4x a week RTO in Makati office)
