About the role:
Perform custom job requests with the objective of delivering high quality workmanship on all automotive preventive maintenance services and mechanical, electrical and air-conditioning system repair.
Responsibilities:
- Performs job requests in accordance to work performance and quality standards set by the company
- Ensures that all assigned repair orders are properly clocked in and out in HDMS system to accurately record workshop utilization
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and repair times.
- Relays to the Leadman/ Quality Inspector/ Officer any needed additional repairs to ensure that all customer requests and potential mechanical failures are were properly addressed
- Performs maintenance and regular inventory of standard tools and ensure replenishment of lost and damaged tools to ensure quality of works.
- Maintains workshop area's cleanliness and orderliness to ensure compliance to 5S standards to promote professional image. Ensures cleanliness of vehicles undergoing repair
Qualifications:
Graduate of Automotive course (Vocational or Bachelor's degree) or 3rd year Engineering course
1-2 years experience in mechanical and electrical jobs (including the OJT period if the technician is a graduate of the Cadet Technician Program) or minimum of 5 months on-the-job exposure to an automotive workshop.
