Job Title: Technician 3, Test Engineering - Product Development
Location: Philippines
About the Role:
As a Technician 3 in Test Engineering for Product Development within our Automotive division, you'll play a key role supporting engineers in the development, validation, and release of automotive semiconductor products. Your hands-on expertise in test hardware, equipment, and troubleshooting will help ensure product quality, reliability, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor automated and manual test equipment for semiconductor devices, following detailed instructions and engineering procedures.
- Execute test for device evaluation, customer samples and qualification; accurately record and report test results.
- Support debugging of test hardware; assist in test solution bring up, and release to manufacturing.
- Perform routine maintenance of lab instruments and test setups.
- Manage inventory of lab tools, components, and supplies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, safety, and work practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in test engineering, electronics lab, or related technical role (semiconductor or automotive industry preferred).
- Strong hands-on skills in building, testing, and troubleshooting electronic hardware.
- Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeters
- Proficiency in handler equipment operation like Delta Matrix, MT9510, Hontech, etc is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
