Primary Function:
Responsible for executing product testing procedures to validate performance, quality, and compliance with established standards. The role involves setting up and operating test equipment, accurately recording and analyzing results, and identifying defects or deviations. Test Product Technicians provide detailed documentation and communicate findings to engineering and product development teams, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring that products meet safety, reliability, and customer requirements.
Educational Background:
Graduate of Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related vocational course.
Experience:
Fresh graduate or must have at least 2-years of work experience in an electronics or semiconductor industry.
Knowledge, skill and abilities :
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Perform First Level Verification on Yield Issues (both SETUP and Production Test) and failures on QA Sampling during Final Test. These include hand testing of affected units to isolate the handler, and debugging of tester, SW, and HW.
2. Monitor and attend immediately to the SETUP for verification.
3. Endorse fixtures (load board, KGU, actuator, etc.) to hardware control for verification, replacement, and safe keeping.
4. Utilize DCD (Discrepancy Control Disposition) / IRAC system for holding and releasing the non-conforming lot.
5. Utilize the MIPS (Manufacturing Integration and Process Simplification) / OPCENTER system in declaring equipment setup status.
6. Document gathered data logs and reports during tester verification activities.
7. Prepare status every shift and accomplishment report every week.
8. Escalate major product-related setup issues to Shift Engineers and/or Engineering head/supervisors.
9. Participate in the implementation of the company efficiency and productivity programs such as Safety, Quality, OEE improvement, and 5S activities.
10. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Engineering Head/Supervisor.
11. Ensure that the companys commitment to environmental management, health, and safety is observed and performed.
12. Be aware of the companys quality and environmental policies.
